One of These Days

(Click on the thumbnail to view larger image)

One of these days, I am going to get so organized that I will have several posts prepared ahead of time that I can then schedule to post while I am away. One of these days.

We needed to take care of some things at the house in Bear Valley and made a quick trip leaving Tuesday and returning last night. Of course, I had had such good intentions about scheduling posts that would go up yesterday and today. But, we all know about good intentions and how they often end. If I put it off too long, there is no recourse since we don't have Internet up there yet. (There' s lot we don't have up there—but that's another story.) Besides, the truth is even if we did have Internet, I am sometimes too busy to post during these rush-rush trips. I just have to get more organized.

One of these days.

  1. I adhered to the one post per day methodology for quite a while. Now, I just post when I have something to say. It seems that the posts come in fits and starts, as they say ... whoever 'they' are. :-) Sometimes I can go on a run of 10 posts in a row; other times, it's hard to think of something to say ... so I don't.

No need to beat yourself up about it. Sometimes life gets in the way.

  2. Thanks,Paul. I always appreciate your wisdom in these matters.

The thing I most aspire to organizing is a group of photos that are ready to go. You know, saved for Blogger along with the Smugmug bigger, better version, so that I can post when I have a short comment I would like to put up, but not enough time for the entire process. That's what I need to discipline myself to do.

Like you, I don't hope to hold my self to a post a day. I know I couldn't sustain that.
