One wonders why anyone even bothered to prop this outhouse up, or why they waited until it was leaning so far. The board propping it up makes it a humorous scene to me!
If I weren't so far behind and there were more photos from Bodie posted on this site, this would make a great deal more sense. Thanks to you John, I realize that. Most of the buildings in the Ghost Town of Bodie, in the Eastern Sierra region of California, are showing their age. Bodie, once a thriving gold mining town, is now a state park. The state has done an admirable job of preserving the entire site in painstaking detail. Visiting there is quite a history lesson. Thanks, John, for dropping by.
